Top Amazon Finds for Dog Moms
Happy Saturday, everyone!
For the past few weeks, I have been searching for new items for my puppy Asher. Being home with him every day helped me figure out things worth spending on and those that aren’t. Asher is very energetic and needs a lot of physical and mental exercise.
Asher usually sleeps in the morning until 10:45, which is helpful and allows me to get some things done. That said, once he is awake, he is ready and eager to start the day!
The first thing we do is go outside, and Asher goes potty. Then, we go on our morning walk, and we play chase. From there, we go back inside and have a delicious breakfast. Asher is usually sleepy after his morning walk and game of chase, so we don’t do much physical exercise. My favorite way to give him mental stimulation in the morning is by feeding him with a snuffle mat.
Using the snuffle mat for breakfast is a great and easy way to give your dog the mental stimulation they need.
Once breakfast is over, I usually give Asher a bone to chew on. His favorite bones are antlers or bone marrow found at most grocery stores. Antlers can be expensive, but I usually find them at TJ Maxx/Marshalls for a reasonable price.
That said, if you are like me and like to order things online instead of searching the stores, here are some of my favorite bones from Amazon.
Benebone Treat Dispensing Chew Toy
I love the Benebone products because they are durable and come in multiple sizes.
For Asher and me, the afternoon is when playtime and training happen. Then, about three-four times a week, we go to the park to train. If we aren’t training, then we are playing.
Asher loves to fetch and loves lacrosse balls more than tennis balls. Also, lacrosse balls are so much easier to clean! I purchased a two-pack of the Champion Lacrosse Balls, and they have held up so well.
Another favorite toy of Asher’s is the Flirt Pole which is an excellent option if your puppy jumps when they get excited.
For Dog Moms
As a dog mom, I always look for cute but practical tools. One of my favorite and most valuable purchases for training is the Coowone Small Treat Pouch, which also has a poop bag dispenser. I love this pouch because it clips right to my lanyard. If you are looking for a bigger pouch that goes around your waist, I love the PetAmi Dog Treat Pouch, which also has a poop bag dispenser and can be worn in multiple ways.
REMINDER: Please always supervise your dogs when given toys and bones. The items listed work for my dog but may not work for yours! It is important to find toys that excite your dog and allows them the physical and mental stimulation they need!!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!
