Also, I spent the afternoon decorating my apartment with Halloween and Fall decor? It may be a little early for decorations, but I couldn’t help myself!

Anyway, what is everyone reading during this holiday weekend?
Who else has a vast series they’re planning on reading? The Steel Brothers Saga is an eighteen book series that has been on my TBR for a while.

Every few months, I’ll be the next book even though I haven’t started it yet. I’ve never read a series with this many books, but I am so excited to dive in!!

Bull by Penny Dee
Genre: MC Romance
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Synopsis: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bull is the president of The Kings of Mayhem motorcycle club. Years ago, he lost his wife, and he’s had a wall up since. He’s known to be ruthless and cold. No one can get past his guilt and pain—no one but Taylor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Taylor and her younger brother are on the run, or so it seems. When Taylor spots Bull talking to her brother one day but what she could never expect is the events that will unfold from that moment on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Review: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bull is an MC romance that has many twists and turns. I wasn’t expecting the twists that Taylor brought toward the end of the book. The character was captivating, especially Bull. I loved Bull and the way Penny Dee portrayed him. He was seen as ruthless and cold but really, he was guarded and afraid. He was scared to open his heart to another after experiencing such a terrible loss. Also, I liked how Taylor was portrayed as a strong FC instead of a woman in distress. She was able to hold her own throughout the book while she tried to keep herself and her brother safe. I found this book to be an excellent MC romance.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A bully romance, unlike any other. A book filled with many realistic scenarios that it seems real.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Daniela Romero does a fantastic job making these characters relatable by forcing them, especially the MFC, to go through painful situations. This book was incredibly well-written and had me mesmerized from the very beginning.

Then You Kissed Me by Willow Winters is a four-chapter intro that sucks you in and sets you up for Tequila Rose by Willow Winters that comes out February 23rd.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tequila Rose is a part of a duet series. It’s crazy how invested I got when this prelude only contains four chapters. Now I am eagerly waiting for Tequila Rose to come because it’s going to be fantastic.

CURRENTLY READING
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, I may be slightly behind on my ARC reads, but I’m slowly catching up? I’m close to finishing Bull by Penny Dee, and I love it. I’ve always loved a good MC romance, and this one is no exception.
JUST FINISHED READING
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Still the One by Carrie Elks is such a sweet and realistic romance. Although the characters in the book were charming, it also portrayed real-life issues.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Savannah and Tanner portrayed the perfect example of allowing fear and pain overshadow good moments and people.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I enjoyed this book and loved seeing the story come together in the end.
You Are My Reason by Willow Winters
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book contained every human emotion and immediately held my attention.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mason Thatcher is a known player, but his attention his captured by Julia Summers. Julia Summers hasn’t been the same since experiencing a painful loss. She’s hasn’t felt alive in months, well, until Mason came into the picture.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mason and Julia’s relationship moves quickly, but there is a secret that could tear them apart.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You Are My Reason is book one in a duet, and the story continues in You Are My Hope.

The newest book in my collection and I cannot wait to dive in!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Summer of ’98 by Tay Marley correlates with The QB Bad Boy and Me, which is a fantastic book. So if you haven’t bought either yet, you definitely should!

The Summer of ’98 by Tay Marley

The QB Bad Boy and Me by Tay Marley

The Enemy by Kelsey Clayton
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lennon and Cade are forced together under less than ideal circumstances. Cade’s number goal is fixing his mother’s mistake, but what he didn’t expect was his attraction toward Lennon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lennon has always been daddy’s little princess, but when the light shines down on the truths he’s hiding, she’ll realize that he never had her best interests at heart.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A situation they had no control over ultimately let them to one another.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I loved this story from the moment I started reading and is one of my favorite step-brother/step-sister romances.
Anyone else continues to buy books even though they have bookcases full of ones they haven’t read?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I seem to have no self-control when it comes to books. All five of these books were found at Target (who doesn’t love Target), and I can’t help but look every time I go.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Out of these five books, which is your favorite?

Stolen Heir by Sophie Lark
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have read many books by Sophie Lark that I’ve loved, but I think Stolen Heir is my new favorite.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book is a dark twist of Beauty and the Beast that is a must-read. Miko is the perfect representation of a man who shuts down is emotions due to a tragic past. Nessa is the accurate representation of an innocent girl whose family didn’t prepare her for the world they lived in.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I loved this book from the very beginning and was sad when it was over.
A MUST-READ
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you love forbidden romances, then you’ll need to grab Reckless Kiss by Tia Louise. The book is steamy, passionate, and forbidden. I loved the storyline and all the twists that appeared in this book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tia Louise did a fantastic job bringing this story to life and drawing in her readers. I was captivated from the beginning and didn’t want this story to end.

Amazon | Book Depository | Barnes & Noble

Currently, I’m waiting for The Summer of ’98 by Tay Marley to come in the mail, and I’m so excited. This novel correlates with The QB Bad Boy and Me by Tay Marley, which is excellent.

Happy Release Day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had the privilege of receiving an ARC edition of Like Hate by Rachel Leigh.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book was amazing and got me through a few days without power. It’s full of heartbreak, forgiveness, and growth. Rachel Leigh has a way with words and the ability to draw in readers, so it feels like they are part of the book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Harper and Axel used to be best friends, but when one dealt a loss, and the other couldn’t watch them go down a destructive path, their relationship ended. Now, they live across the street from one another at University and run in the same friend group. The hostility that radiates of them is palpable, but is there any hope that they could fix it? Or is it too late
Who else doesn’t have power? So far, my husband and I have been without power for over 24 hours!! To pass the time, we spent the day at my parent’s house, and I’ve been reading non-stop.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For those of you without power, what are you doing to pass the time?

Who here is excited to dive into their past with Midnight Sun? Just looking at this book reminds me of my teenage days when I obsessed over all things Twilight-related.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was so excited to wake up to Midnight Sun downloaded on my Kindle, and I can’t wait to experience Edward’s POV of this iconic love story

Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Book Depository

One Little Dare by Whitney Barbetti
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One Little Dare by Whitney Barbetti is a part of a standalone series, and I enjoyed every moment of this book.
Liam instantly buried himself in my heart, and I adored him from the very first moment. Whitney Barbetti does a fantastic job of making readers feel the emotions through the characters. You can feel the sadness as if you were there instead of just reading about it.
I would highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more by Barbetti.

Happy Release Day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Reign by Siobhan Davis is the third and final installment of The Sainthood series and is one of my favorite reads of 2020.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you love a good bully romance, then you need to start reading this series. Although I’m sad to see this story come to an end, Reign is the perfect ending to a fantastic story.
Varsity Heartbreaker by Ginger Scott
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Varsity Heartbreaker is such a sweet and fun read. It’s set in high school and follows Lucas and June, who used to be best friends. Suddenly, Lucas stops talking to June, and it takes years for the truth of why to come out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I liked this book and am currently reading the second book, Varsity Tiebreaker, which follows the same characters.
Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Book Depository
Riot House by Callie Hart
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First, this cover is probably one of my favorites of all the books I’ve read this year. I just love it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wren Jacobi has always been the disappointment of his family, and after years of verbal abuse, he became the monster everyone saw him as.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Elodie Stillwater is dumped on the porch of Wolf Hall Academy in the middle of the year. Her past is dark, and the distance between her new school and past life is welcomed. Being a military brat, this isn’t the first time her life is altered, but it’s the first time dealing with Wren.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As the weeks go by, Elodie is sure of two things: first, she has an attraction to Wren. Second, this school has secrets that could shatter her.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Riot House deserves five stars. It captivated me from the beginning, and I can’t wait to read future books in this series.
Amazon | Book Depository
Heart-Break Me by T.L. Smith
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First, Heart-Break Me was surprisingly unexpected. I knew I would love it before I started reading, but I didn’t realize how much.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Atlas Hyde is so mysterious and dangerous. He’s misunderstood and tries to control every aspect of his life. When someone wrongs him, he comes at them with an iron fist. So, kidnapping Thea to pay off her sister’s debt is a standard affair. Falling in love is a whole other story.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Theadora is sassy and mouthy. She knows how to push Atlas to the brink of his breaking point.
Honestly, I didn’t want this book to end (which is book one of a duet), but I can’t wait to dive into the next one and continue the journey of Atlas and Thea.
Amazon | Barnes & Noble
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Restrictions by Nicole Dykes
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
WOW! That’s all I can say about Restrictions by Nicole Dykes. Restrictions follow Viv, who is a single mom and Ash, who is a college student who moves in with Viv to help her with her son. Sebastian, Viv’s son, is the cutest three-year-old and adores Uncle Asher. Both Viv and Ash put aside their growing feelings to take care of Baz. But one night changes everything, and Viv has to make a painful decision.
This story is heart-wrenching and completely broke my heart at points. Some moments, I loved Ash and Viv, but then I wanted to knock them on the sides of their heads. This book left me frustrated but wanting more at the same time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book needs to be added to everyone’s TBR list and read immediately.
King of Nothing by Jacie Lennon
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One moment you’re living with your father, who’s a famous photographer and travels the world. Then, your life is uprooted, and you are now living with your mom, your new step-dad, and step-brothers. If that’s not enough change, you are required to live on the campus of Almadale Prep.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Landry new her life would change, but she never suspected it would take the turn it did.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Corbin has one goal. Protect his younger brother. He didn’t expect to feel an instant connection to Landry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
King of Nothing is everything I seek in a bully romance. I highly recommend this romance novel and can’t wait for book two.
I finished reading The Bad Girl by A.D. McCammon, and I loved it!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Bad Girl is the second book in the Westbrook Three series and follows the lives of Arwen and Aidan.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I enjoyed this book and loved the practical issues the characters faced that shaped them into the individuals who were able to make tough decisions.
Amazon | Book Depository
So this beauty appeared in my Kindle yesterday, and I might have already finished it? The moment I started reading, I couldn’t put it down!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Reign by Siobhan Davis is the third and final installment of The Sainthood series and is releasing at the end of this month. Now is the perfect time to read the first two books in this series, so you’re all caught up! Trust me; you won’t be disappointed!!
I started reading the second installment in A Hawthorn Hills Duet, Complete Me, by Claire Raye yesterday morning. I must admit I didn’t go to sleep until I finished it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was drawn in from the first book, Complicate Me, that came out a couple of weeks ago. Sienna and Reid have this explosive and passionate connection throughout both books. I especially loved learning more about Sienna’s twin brother Caleb.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I loved Caleb’s character and how all three of them are so loyal to one another. If you haven’t read the first book in this duet and haven’t pre-ordered this book, then you need to do it now.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who here doesn’t love a forbidden romance? The Rebel is a forbidden teacher/student romance that’ll immediately suck you in. I truly enjoyed reading this book, not only because it was super steamy, but because there was so much depth to it. The main characters are so much more than just a teacher and a student.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was utterly hooked from the beginning and loved every second of reading this book. It deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ , and I highly recommend it to everyone.
Amazon Kindle | Paperback
Dash by Shantel Tessier
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wow!! My first thought when reading this book was how I was going to read a HEA love story between a girl and her racer. My gosh, I was wrong. This story was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. It took me a while to get through the ending. I could not stop the tears. By the end of the book, you feel connected to the characters, so my heart broke when tragedy struck.
Although it was shocking, I still believe every romance lover needs to read. This book portrays love, heartache, but, most importantly, strength.
Help!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I can’t decide which one to read first. I’m doing a poll on my stories, so let me know which one I should start with. I’m so indecisive today and keep jumping between the two of them.

Blurb:
“I never wanted the limelight. The only thing I wanted was Conley Logan.
When words failed to express my feelings for Conley, I relied on music instead. But our love song ended before it even began, before I’d even told her how I truly felt. As a result, I watched Conley leave hand-in-hand with my bandmate instead of me.
Not wanting the fight that would break up the band, I made a choice. I lived with it every day, knowing it was nobody’s fault but my own. I’ve moved on. I’m content with my small-town life, running a bar. But now Conley is back, forcing me to face the music.
From the way I’m still tempted to make her mine, it’s as if nothing has changed-but until she tells me why she’s back, I’m not sure I can trust what’s growing between us.
The only thing that has changed: I’m not letting her get away this time without a fight.”

The Best Years by Elena Monroe
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yesterday, I finished The Best Years and fell in love with the characters. This book is a part of a four-book series and gave me huge After (by Anna Todd) vibes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Both of the main characters are troubled and destructive in different ways. I’m already halfway through the second book, and you can sense the pain these characters are dealing with.

I cannot wait to dive into this chaotic love story!!
Blurb:
“Marnie MacGraw and Patrick Delaney have been in love for a few years now, enough to realize that they are imperfectly perfect together. Still, there are some things that maybe need a little attention. Marnie’s ebullient; he’s brooding. She thrives on change; he prefers stability. She sees marriage and parenthood in their future, but he can’t see beyond the shadow of an earlier tragedy.
Then an eight-year-old surprise from Patrick’s past shows up on their doorstep, cartwheeling into their lives and spinning things in all directions. While it’s not exactly the change she envisioned, it looks like instant family to Marnie. But Patrick, afraid of being hurt again, retreats further into himself. Suddenly, two very different pieces of a beautiful puzzle find it harder and harder to fit. How can Marnie trust in the magic of the universe when it seems to be doing its best to knock her off her feet?
But some love stories are worth waiting for. And what’s love without a little chaos anyway?”

I am halfway through Beach Read by Emily Henry, and I love the storyline. The idea of two writers using their knowledge to help one another write a book that is unique to their chosen genre is fascinating. The apparent connection between January and Gus is a joy to witness.

I have found myself laughing through multiple different parts and can’t seem to put it down.

Bennett Sharp. Priest Farrell. Ashley Cutler. The unexpected trio you never knew you needed.
Bennett Sharp, the notorious pirate captain, fell in love with a possessive libertine until he betrayed her. Once captured by the Navy Officer/Pirate Hunter, Ashley Cutler, she couldn’t resist the deep passion between them.
What happens when Priest Farrell comes to her rescue?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This historical romance is a must-read. It is full of passion, forgiveness, ruthlessness, and strength. The storyline is like no other, and the danger will keep you completely invested until the end.
Pam Godwin writing style is everything in this book, and the book itself deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Pain by J.M. Walker

Inner demons. Mental Health. Abuse. Fear. These are just some terms that describe Beautiful Pain.
This book is exceptionally well written and focuses on multiple topics that are hard to discuss and maybe triggering for some. On that note, I loved this book, and the characters progress throughout. The MMC accepting his mental health diagnoses and the MFC overcoming an abuser past are just some key points in this novel.

Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I loved this story and how poetic the conversations were between Henry and Alex. Casey McQuiston does a fantastic job portraying the difficulties that come from being in the position of power. The main characters must decide if staying true to themselves is worth the potential of compromising their family’s reputation and status.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I highly recommend this novel to all romance lovers
